One Year Anniversary

Welcome to Freedom Now’s One Year Anniversary celebration. This long anticipated event has generated a firestorm of excitement from the community. Republicans were so enthusiastic that they forgot to vote and the Democrats were swept into power.

To commemorate this historic event I decided against hosting a grand exhibition with the President as the keynote speaker or a concert with performers like U2 and The White Stripes. Instead I will post a “Greatest Hits” with 10 of the best pictures from over the last year.

You can click on the dates to view the original article. Enjoy the show and please turn off your cell phones during the performance...

November 17, 2005
“Soundtrack for a New Generation”

My first Photoshop picture for Freedom Now! If I was smart it should have been the last. Thanks to this blog I can’t count how many work nights that I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning and suffered for it the next day.

December 03, 2005

“Congressman John Murtha surrenders to Baghdad Bob as US troops are routed by Iraqi insurgents.”

The insurgents have achieved nothing in Iraq, but the Democrats have led the battle to retreat before the Iraqi government can take complete control of the country. Al Qaeda is grateful.

December 04, 2005
“Cindy Sheehan Released From Hospital”

Cindy Sheehan held a press conference for a new book at the Providence Health Center. She was hospitalized for a severe case of writer’s cramp after an overwhelming book signing. Her recovery was astounding!

January 07, 2006
“My Enemy’s Propaganda”

This prediction was made early in the season, but the Atlanta Hawks went on to finish up with the NBA’s 4th worst record. They won 26 games and lost 56 for a miserable .317 percentage. Al Qaeda claimed a victory because they did not finish in last place.

March 23, 2006
“War of Words Escalates”

Al Qaeda’s efforts to cultivate the support of the Gay and Lesbian Community was a complete failure. In March of 2006 the organization hired an openly homosexual terrorist to handle their public relations. The new spokesperson, Abu Al-Shieki, was later captured by coalition forces after attempting to shoplift a Louis Vuitton handbag from a Baghdad shopping mall.

Please note that the Al Qaeda flag is actually black but Al-Shieki want to add a dash of color for the Queer Eye Effect. Al Qaeda was not pleased because green is the color of their hated enemies, the Shia. It was the first of many P.R. disasters for the terrorist group.

April 12, 2006
“Bush Defends Tenth Planet Claims”

If you want to understand how the Anti-Bush movement operates just read this post.

May 16, 2006
“Defender of the Fifth Republic”

Read about the Caped Communist’s latest exploits at the Yankees Go Home! blog

June 29, 2006
“Iraqi Insurgents More Generous Than Democrats”

A group of insurgent factions in Iraq offered a cessation of hostilities if the US was to withdraw from Iraq within two years. Here in the States Democratic Congressman Murtha demanded an immediate withdrawal, while other Democrats proposed a withdrawal within one year. These lunatics are now in charge of Congress. Yippeeee!!! Troop withdrawals from Alaska are expected within a year.

August 08, 2006
“Peace in the Middle East”

I believe peace between the Israelis and Palestinians is only possible if the Peace Movement was to actually become a Peace Movement. Sometimes they do attempt to distance themselves from Islamists at protests, but Arafat was secure in his ability to count on Western support for his Intifada.

October 13, 2006
“And Now for a Commercial Break”

Kim Jong-il, Chairman of the NDC of North Korea, would like to take this opportunity to say;

I am a proud card-carrying member of the
Enriched Uranium
Hair Club for Men
A trusted solution for dictators with thinning economies.

These comments have been dominated by the Nanc Show almost since day one.

You have proven to be an outstanding Blog Librarian and Commentator so you have just as much to celebrate as me.

Thanks Nanc

Let the festivities begin...

Hey, it's my daughter's 16th birthday, I can't divide myself like this! Now I've got a headache, choices, choices, choices, too many...
Congrats, Fern, you've survived the Beaker Brigades for 1 year, you're tough stuff!

nanc said...

fern? rumsfeld has resigned - check out drudge.

Freedomnow said...

Dont worry TMW.

For my first birthday I only require cheap presents like bibs, pacifiers, baby bottles, Legos, rattles, teddy bears and all the items that fit my level of maturity.

This is so exciting! I cant wait to start preschool!!!!!

Freedomnow said...

Nanc,

Rumsfeld did a great job. In light of the Dems victory it will help politically to change things around.

The good that comes out of something like this is that those who support the Iraqi reconstruction are now forced to change strategy.

Our military strategy is sound. What we need to do is figure out how to control the flow of information.

The Democrats and Islamists have dominated the media. We need to figure out how to get across the stories of our troops in Iraq who are working hard to help Iraq restore its infrastructure.

That is a sound strategy for success...

Congratulations on the anniversary. Too bad the day couldn't have gone better.
I didn't realize all those photos were of your making.
Some of them are classics.

Where is the roadkill and cheap booze.

The Boy George Jihadi Homicide Bomber division is forming a chapter in Tredington UK. "Allah Ahkbar Boitch" said the spokesman who was wearing a stylish shopping bag over his head. Why someone who is so concerned with homophobia would be an appologist for the most homicidal homophobes on the planet remains a mystery. However when one is so far to the left that one has fallen off the map, common sense does not apply.

nanc said...

i wasn't going to tell everyone that it was you who started the whole photo-shopping thing...

Happy Blogaversary!

Kind of tough to get in the mood for celebrating a few days after the funeral that was Black Tuesday, but heck!

Freedomnow said...

Mikes America, now theres an avatar I havent seen in a while. Its good to see your smilin' face.

Celebrations are always in order. At my funeral I demand that a band rocks out and strippers entertain the "mourners". A full bar will have to be set up next to my viewing coffin as a convenience to my guests. Any speakers would be required to have a blood alcohol content twice the legal level for a DUI. This will be strictly enforced!!!!!!!!

nanc said...

okay.

Freedomnow said...

It looks like Nanc is anxious to party and I say, "over my dead body!!!"...

nanc said...

Freedomnow said...

I've been working super overtime lately and maybe I just get in the story telling kinda mood because I dont have an outlet for my pretentious ranting.

The double mohawk question will be answered in your blog...

Nancy Pelosi as Speak of the House will make 2008 a lot more successful.

Freedomnow said...

I cant imagine any sane person even voting for that woman. She will definitely do more harm than good for the Democratic Party.

They have toned down their self-hating anti-Americanism these days, but that wont last.

Nanc, thanks for the link. That is so typical of the press. "Muslims good, Christians bad"...

Freedomnow said...

In the 2000 Presidential election more Gore ballots were disqualified than Bush ballots because they were incorrectly filled out.

The ballots weren’t rigged to favor any candidate. It’s just that some voters voided their ballots by voting twice for their candidate, the majority were Democrats.

They simply punched Gore’s name and then they also filled in Gore in the write-in field. Republicans could have done the same to Bush, but they didn’t (at least in equal numbers).

Yet popular opinion labels southern republicans as ignorant imbeciles, while democrats are enlightened saviors.

This is just another popular misconception that should be laid to rest, but leftwing propaganda machine marches on.

just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your comments.
Your posts show a better understanding on many issues that I have.

Freedomnow said...

So Nanc my reputation precedes me!!!! ;-)

Thanks AC. Its a pleasure to comment on your site. However, its easy to appear to be knowledgeable when a leftwing troll spews one-sided propaganda completely out of context. I am amazed by how ignorant such self-professed "educated" people can be.

Trolls seem to gravitate towards sites with America or Yankee in their name.

nanc said...

did you have your tofurky for thanksgiving? if so, please do an article on it for leftovers...

i'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Freedomnow said...

Actually, I am not really a vegetarian, I still eat fish.

So I had the traditional fare like stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc... but my main course was salmon with a white wine-based sauce on a bed of veggies (to soak up that salmon goodness).

Sorry to disappoint, but thats the only thing that I am good at...

nanc said...

i have a great halibut recipe, but it's fattening and should only be eaten about twice a year and only if you have friends in alaska who bring it back on dry ice...goes well with octopus...oh how i miss halibut - i could live on it.

we came from salmon country in california and i do NOT like salmon in any way, shape or form - with native rights, i could have all the salmon i want, but cannot tolerate the fishy taste. i do like trout, however.

soooooooooo, you had a good one, eh?

do you eat shellfish? raw oysters? clams?

nanc said...

p.s. you NEVER disappoint me. you are now and always will be one of my favorite people in the www!

Eitan Ha'ahzari said...

Freedomnow: happy anniversary! My apologies for not having visited but this is the first blog I have visited(besides my own)in over a month and that was only regarding the sentiment shown the blogosphere over that I will not be returning to Israel.

Now 2 things: Dec 3rd, '06 is a day that will live in my memory simply because of your photoshop abilities and Atlanta has gotten off to a good start this season. Are you thinking of having the Ayatollah come up with another team or do you think the Hawk's chances to win it all this year are next to none anyhow?

Freedomnow said...

Greg,

If you get the scoop on Al Qaeda's NBA pick this season let me know. They have been a bit mum this year since their spokesperson, Al-Shieki, was arrested!!!!

Nanc,

See, I live to dissappoint!!!! I dont like shellfish too much... including your suggestions, raw oysters and clams. Sighhhhh....

P.S. you are number one with me, superstar!!!!!!!!!!!!

American Crusader said...

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving..I know I enjoyed taking some time off.

nanc said...

good, more for me!

Freedomnow said...

Hey AC!!!!

Its like time off for good behavior. I fail to see the difference between work and prison. Maybe Ted Kennedy can help me out with some advice and pull some strings to have my life sentence reduced or dismissed.

I'm not exactly sure what Nanc is up to, but whatever it is it sounds like trouble. Is she trying to take some time off?

I hope you had Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!

Eitan Ha'ahzari said...

Freedomnow: I'm guessing the Quadis are going with Memphis to not only win it all but do so going undefeated this merry NBA season.

Hope you continue tearing terrorists and the like to pieces in upcoming years cause so far it's been a blast...trully!

nanc said...

i've been taking most mondays off lately - we're down to 30 or so employees so my work is short - once we go higher than 35, i'll be working more. until i get hyperfast and then i'll be working less...

i never TRY to take time off - i just take it off in hopes my husband will fire me!

Freedomnow said...

I dont know Greg, Memphis is 3 for 3 at home and that is almost competitive.

Al Qaeda prefers a clear-cut hopeless case like Charlotte. A team that is miserable both at home and on the road.

The thrill is to take a hopeless cause and make the liberals think that they are winning.

Terrorism doesnt work for real winners. If liberals were truthful then they would say that when one side uses terrorism nobody wins. They try to say the same thing about war, but look at WWII. Look at the Vietnam war. There were real winners in those conflicts. Some like Russia and North Vietnam actually started those wars!!!!!!!!!

There is soooo much BS rhetoric and not enough time to refute it all...

Freedomnow said...

Nanc take it easy. I'm getting tired after reading how bad you have it.

Eitan Ha'ahzari said...

Freedomnow: I feel most liberals have certainly got things a little confused(understatement?) though plenty of them are decent human beings. There are so many liberals that they fall into different categories. Whereas one may favor gay marriage, be pro-life and anti-war, another may support terrorist groups like the Islamic Jihad. So, I think it's not wise to generalize when speaking of liberals.

But, once again, I agree with what you said. I was just trying to clarify.

Eitan Ha'ahzari said...

Yeah...I think one my personal favorites, Mr. Abbu(did somebody just sneeze!?) Mazen would definitely have to go with Charlotte.

Freedomnow said...

Sure, but I dont know any "liberal" (in the American sense) that doesnt take an "anti-war" stance towards American foreign policy.

As you noted, many take a pro-war stance towards terrorist "resistance" movements, but they hem and haw on this point. Often they claim that they dont support the terrorists, we should only "understand them".

Give me a Neo-Con Christian any day. I may not like religion, but at least I know where they stand.

The Merry Widow said...

What? No waffles?
Hope you had a good Thanksgiving, salmon sounded good! Want to share the recipe for a recipe Tuesday? I had another down home stuffer this last time! Even MadZ regretted being kosher! LOL!
Take care!

American Crusader said...

Often they claim that they dont support the terrorists, we should only "understand them".

That sounds like Rosie..who describes terrorist as "mothers and fathers".
I hope her parenting skills are better.
Teaching your children how to manufacture C4 and make timers..or just pressing a button and becoming a "martyr" isn't really being a good parent.

Eitan Ha'ahzari said...

Yeah, Freedomnow and American crusader: you guys have got it right. FN: I,too, would take a Neo-Con Christian over a Liberal any day when it comes to politics.

Eitan Ha'ahzari said...

greg? nice avatar - i as a christian have the greatest appreciation for the menorrah. it has great signifigance for me and so many other followers of Yeshua (he being the servant (middle) candle). i just hope you, also, know how important an endeavor you've undertaken choosing this particular avatar.

Freedomnow said...

AC,

Thats good parenting advice. Rosie could use some of that.

There are a number of videos out there with scenes of mothers praising their martyred sons and declaring that they would be happy to martyr all of their children.

Greg,

You should be proud of your Jewishness. Many feel that is something to be ashamed of.
