What did she gain from this trip except for bad publicity?
A smart politician calculates before making a move. In this case even Assad Jr bested her. He came away with a great photo-op that makes the bumbling dictator look like a statesman.
Pelosi took this trip in order to give the impression that the Democrats are empowered, but instead the trip highlights the fact that nothing has changed and even with control of Congress the Democrats are powerless to project their will.
Now we have wartime pictures of her exchanging pleasantries with a dictator that is fighting a proxy war against our country.
Way to go Pelosi, thanks for the ammo!!!!!!!

She has made a complete ass of herself.
Any credibility she might have had was lost when she misrepresented Israel.
No surprise though...she is also misrepresenting our country as well.
I bet the Saudis and the Syrians are laughing their asses off behind the cameras as Überfrauen Pelosi struts around making a fool of herself.
The Democrats habit of overexaggerating really came out in the episode dealing with Israel's message to Syria.
She should really step down. The woman has overstepped her authority.
...but didn't you hear her latest press statement...she only went to deliver a message from Bush...

Whatever anyone thinks of their domestic policy, at least FDR and JFK were willing to fight and finish what they started.
I think Vietnam defeated the Democratic Party, but the Republicans were unbroken.
As much as I hated Reagan, he gave the country confidence again. The Democrats didnt like Reagan either, but they let their hatred cloud their judgment so they failed to learn a valuable lesson from him.

Not really, because I got the Blogger "Least Likely to Succeed" (LLTS) Award... not the prestigious "Thinking" Award. The Blogger LLTS Award is, however, extremely selective. It is in that respect, that the LLTS Award is so sought after and valuable.
Well, I'd like to say that I am special for winning, but as a chain letter, eventually everyone will be nominated.
