The March of Anti-Semitism

March 24, 1933 Headline of the London newspaper, the Daily Express

Would you have spoken out against the Holocaust if it took place in your lifetime?

In the last days of World War II Adolph Hitler wrote his political testament while the Russians were overrunning Berlin. From the gloomy depths of his bunker he claimed that he unfairly suffered from a war that was instigated by the Jews. “It is untrue that I or anybody else in Germany wanted war in 1939…But nor have I left any doubt that if the nations of Europe are once more to be treated only as collections of stocks and shares of these international conspirators in money and finance, then those who carry the real guilt for the murderous struggle, this people will also be held responsible: the Jews!”

Somehow it is not surprising that over 60 years later another strong “leader” warns of an unjust war led by the Jews. Aljazeera released an audio recording of Osama bin Laden stating, “The blockade which the West is imposing on the government of Hamas proves that there is a Zionist Crusader war on Islam…” He continued to say that, “In truth the West had launched an assault against the Islamic civilization”.

So yet again the United States has sided with the Jews in a war against anti-Semitic enemies. However; Al Qaeda, the Taliban and Baathist Iraq hardly qualify as the representatives of Islamic civilization. In their lust for violence they have killed more Muslims than Jews or Americans.

While they are nothing more than opportunists, it is an unfortunate fact that the Jews have been the targets for terror almost unabatedly since 1920. It was in that year when the Grand Mufti al-Husseini of Jerusalem launched an unprovoked war against the Jews and by 1937 this war was supported by the Nazis (his name is also frequently translated as el-Husseini).

According to documentation from the Nuremberg and Eichmann trials, the Nazis helped finance the 1936-39 Palestinian Arab revolt against the British. This marked the beginning of al-Husseini’s collaboration with the Nazi regime that lasted until its destruction in 1945. For his part in the violence the British exiled the Grand Mufti and he eventually found his way to Baghdad.

After the outbreak of World War II, al-Husseini conspired with Iraqi army officers to launch a coup in their country that was supported by the Nazis, Italy and Vichy France. Fortunately, the Axis didn’t send enough air power to support the plot and it quickly unraveled at the hands of the British military. During this crisis the German embassy and pro-Nazi Arabs stirred up a vicious pogrom against Iraqi Jews which resulted in an official death toll of 187 killed in two days of rioting (but some estimates run as high as 600). Pro-Nazi sentiment destroyed thousands of years of mostly peaceful co-existence between the Iraqi Arabs and Jews. A population of about 300,000 Iraqi Jews was slowly expelled in a sustained campaign of bigotry that left only about 30 to 40 Jews in the whole country.

Once again al-Husseini fled from the failure of yet another violent scheme. He eventually found his way to Berlin where he spent the rest of the war. During those dark times he conducted radio broadcasts of anti-Semitic and anti-British propaganda that was aimed at the Islamic world.

The Grand Mufti was most notorious for his assistance in the recruitment of tens of thousands of Muslims for Waffen SS divisions. These troops were responsible for massacres that almost completely wiped out most of the Jews living in the Balkans. Due to his role in this genocide the government of Yugoslavia sought al-Husseini’s arrest for war crimes, but he successfully escaped to the protection of the Muslim world where was celebrated as a hero.

(on the left) the Grand Mufti in one of his meetings with Hitler (on the right) the Grand Mufti gives the Nazi salute to Muslim-SS troops that he helped recruit in Bosnia.

Upon his return to the Middle East he once again assumed his role of instigating violence against the Jews, but he never stepped foot in Jerusalem again.

Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat claimed that al-Husseini was his uncle and his greatest inspiration. So the Nazi torch was passed on, but the irony is that Arafat routinely accused the Israelis of being Nazis.

(on the left) Palestinian Security Forces give the Nazi salute (on the right) The best selling publication of Mein Kampf distributed by the Palestinian Authority.

On October 2002 Bin Laden wrote a letter to the American people stating, “The Jews have taken control of your economy, through which they have then taken control of your media, and they now control all aspects of your life - making you their servants and achieving their aims at your expense.”

Not only is the US portrayed as being under the influence of the Jews, but Americans are becoming the new Jews. In his fatwa of 1998 bin Laden said, “The inability of the regime (the Saudi Arabian monarchy) to protect the country, and allowing the enemy of the Ummah, the American crusader forces, to occupy the land for the longest of years. The crusader forces became the main cause of our disastrous condition, particularly in the economical aspect of it due to the unjustified heavy spending on these forces. As a result of the policy imposed on the country, especially in the field of oil industry where production is restricted or expanded and prices are fixed to suit the American economy ignoring the economy of the country. Expensive deals were imposed on the country to purchase arms. People asking what is the justification for the very existence of the regime then?”

So economic greed can explain American aggression just like the Jews! “No War for Oil” is the battle cry of anti-Americanism and it is just as patently false as any anti-Semitic blood libel.

If I was packing for a visit to a Muslim country I wouldn’t include any T-Shirts displaying the American flag due to the fear it would cause for my personal safety. While the Left screams that I should ask why Muslims hate us so much, I can’t help feeling solidarity with the European Jews who suffered under anti-Semitic fanaticism.

Both the Nazis and Islamists justified the targeting of innocent civilians in response to alleged crimes that they accuse their sworn enemies of committing.

Nazi Propaganda Minister Goebbels appeared before several thousand people gathered in a Berlin park and delivered a tirade “against the atrocities of world Jewry”. His speech was broadcast nationally on all German radio stations. Goebbels asserted that if the Jews of Germany could not stop their fellow Jews around the world from dishing out anti-Nazi propaganda, then the Nazis would be forced to deal out justice to Germany’s Jews.

Shortly after the September 11th attacks Al Qaeda released a video statement from spokesman Abu Ghaith. He said: “The storms will not calm, especially the aircraft storm…until you retreat in defeat in Afghanistan, stop your assistance to the Jews in Palestine, end the siege imposed on the Iraqi people, leave the Arabian Peninsula, and stop your support for the Hindus against the Muslims in Kashmir.

The video gave an ominous warning, “We also say and advise the Muslims in the United States and Britain, the children, and those who reject the unjust US policy not to travel by plane. We also advise them not to live in high-rise buildings and towers.”

In both cases the Nazis and Al Qaeda victimized innocent civilians in accordance to their promises. Thankfully, Al Qaeda has not been as successful as they were on September 11th.

One day they will get lucky, it is a matter of time. Both the Left and the Right will seek to profit from such an attack. However, as the Left seeks political gain from such a scenario, Al Qaeda will also benefit. It’s not an accusation of collaboration or betrayal, but just a statement based on the fact that the Left historically condemns US foreign policy in response to terrorism.

Would they have given Poland to Hitler as well?

This post took a lot of time to compose and thats a commodity I haven't had much of lately.

At the symposium, I had the privilege of hearing Walid Shoebat speak. He is the grandson of the Grand Mufti and a former terrorist (now a convert to Christianity). According to Shoebat, more than anything else, jihadists hate Jews; in fact, he made the point that anti-Semitism is inherent in all of Islam. While he didn't discuss the Grand Mufti's ties to Hitler, the tie is ideologcally logical--hate feeds on itself and on the hate of the like-minded.

Today, the left is busy apologizing for and aligning with Islam. And that's one reason why anti-Semitism has proliferated in recent years. Our universities are poisoned with it.

I have to tell you....Before I started blogging, I had no idea as to the virulent proliferation of anti-Semitism here in America. I thought that hate was over, by and large. I was wrong!

Freedom Now,
A superior article here. I don't doubt that composing this was a Herculean task.

Great post, Freedomnow. You really nailed it, and I only wish my fellow Jews who are moslem sympathyzers could grasp what it is you have written. Unfotrtunately, the blinders always get in the way.

Hitler, incidentally, openly believed islam to be the perfect ideology, combining virulent Jew-hatred with an absolute desire to die for that cause. He wished that the Germans shared such zealotry.

While the Nazis admired the warlike philosophy of Islam compared to Christianity, Hitler was still an Aryan supremist. So he never gave the Islamists the support he could have. If he gave them enough support it would have been disasterous and could have led to an Axis victory in the Middle East.

It was too little too late, but the Nazis were happy to host Islamist fascists dedicated to anti-Semitism and willing to help recruit Muslim SS troops.

Of course in the end the Nazis would have been exterminated them just like the Islamists would exterminate the Liberals.

AOW, Shoebat is the best. What a passionate speaker!

He is like a former L.A. gangbanger trying to keep kids off crack and out of gangs.

We have a spate of far left trolls in our Community who are anti Semitic. I compose a post on the Black Book of Communism Ducky and John Brown attack Israel. Does Israel have a thing to do with the Black book. No

The far left likes to talk about imaginary Jewish cabals in Washington. Has any group in US history ever had the record of treason and espionage as American Communists. This is a clear case of projection.

Hell, Papa Joe knew all about anti-Semitism. He added to the Russian tradition of Pogroms with the holiday spirit of the "Exile to Siberia Travel Agency".

Too bad Stalin's worst enemy was a Jew (Trotsky). They sure paid for it...

extraordinary, fern - your grasp is tight.

and yes, whalid shoebat is one of the best speakers, aow - i try to catch him on any and all programs i'm able - of course, we have skyangel satellite - nearly ALL christian programming, with the exception of fox news and a couple of others.

and although i cannot be sure, the jews may be in charge of christian programming. yeah. they're in charge of everything.

Freedomnow said...

Oh Nanc you are in tune with the Oil Soaked Christian Fundamentalist Suicide Bomber Cabal.

We all know that 9/11 was a Zionist/Christian conspiracy to make war on innocent Islamist terrorists.

US hands off of fascism!!!

Stop US imperialism against Al Qaeda and the Baathists!!!

nanc said...

well of course it was - we were planning it on fridays through sunday nights. because hey, it's what we do - not enough else to do on those days, so why the hell not twist the arms of some muslim fundamentalist fanatics and get them to fly some planes into these landmarks. we do stuff like that.

yeah, and have you heard of our children in "blow yourself up and go to heaven" training? it's a relatively new program for the jewish and christian youth - keeps them off the streets. they're the ones you don't see on the streets or at the malls.

you're the only one i've told about this so, shhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Great job,
I would like to think that I would have tried to prevent the Holocaust. The fact that so many Germans did not shows how fear is so debilitating.
There are many similarities between Ahmadinejad and Hitler, particularly the way they use their hate of Jews to rally their people.
I think Ahmadinejad represents the greatest danger to Israel since its inception in 1947.

Iran Watch said...

I agree with AOW..a superior article!

American Crusader said...

I've often heard people claim Israel follows NAZI tactics but of course the same people believe Hamas is a peaceloving organization. Ahmadinejad hates Israel and the Jewish people. I don't think he would hesitate to use his weapons against them.

F.B. Jones said...

Wait!! I though that we were all the Nazis.
I am always hearing that the conservatives, christians, and all other freedom loving folks are Nazis. Well that is what the left seems to think. Thanks Fern. It may not stop the name calling idiotic BS coming from the trolls but it is a nice try.

Spread the word.

There is one common denominator between the Abu Ghraib torture and the torture given out by Bahjat's kidnappers.

Only the US will punish both parties. That is why I believe in the values of this country.

American Crusader said...

I'm not condoning Abu Ghraib in any way, it was un-American, but compared to the way American prisoners have been held, it's pretty lame as far as tortured goes.

Freedomnow said...

...that kind of behavior is not condoned by our government or its people.

The Iraqi Baathists, Taliban or Palestinians cannot say the same.

Liberals always have us on the defensive, yet our enemies get a blank check.

Lets set the record straight.

Mad Zionist said...

I condone it. The vermin are forced to be sexually embarassed and we call it torture? Bah! Worse should be acceptable in interrigation...much, much worse.

nanc said...

i don't condone physical torture. i agree that a certain amount of persuasion is probably due these cretins - like going without food or water for a day or two, or those water torture devices, feeding them bacon, or making them listen to me sing an operatic solo, but as far as causing permanent physical damage - no, no, no. if worse is done, i don't want to know about it. even though i feel they deserve to have to hear me sing two solos!

actually, they all, if guilty need to die a martyr's death - strap a bomb on them and drop them into the hills of afghanistan - as soon as they land - boooomb!

Freedomnow said...

While I would never embrace the suicidal urges of the apologists for terrorism, my values are consistent with that of our country's leadership.

The torture of our enemies is unacceptable, just as the torture of US soldiers held in captivity by our enemies would be.

Give the bastards 3 hot meals a day, TV and exercise. It may seem like it doesn’t help because our enemies still accuse us of misconduct regardless of how humane we are, but our persistence will outlast their false accusations.

Turning the AC up or blaring loud music is not nice, but hardly qualifies as torture.

F.B. Jones said...

Thank for the permission. Fern Fern Fern Fern Fern.!!!
I think that the bastiges got off too easy at Abu Ghraib. It may not of been very "American" but what the heck does that even mean these days. I think that in order to show the enemy what is American we need to show are military might. I don't think that abusing prisoners is all ways the right thing to do, but I do think we look like a "paper tiger" in the eyes of these savages.
