The Circus Comes to Town

Today was the celebration of the anniversary of the US liberation of Iraq. “Peace” Protesters have a funny way of celebrating. For them the liberation of 26 million people is not worth the effort. Instead they leverage terrorism to discredit the freedom that the Iraqis enjoy. Sure those who live in the Sunni provinces don’t have much to celebrate, but they should have thought about that before supporting the genocidal Baathist regime and its insurgency. Quite often it is Muslim people that suffer the worst from their own freedom fighters, otherwise known as terrorists.

There have been a lot of positive developments since last year’s celebration and you won’t find a hint of it at these protests. I went down to San Diego’s Balboa Park to see what the “Peace” activists were up to and also to hang out with our fun loving Protest Warrior counter-demonstrators.

The photograph at the top depicts a typical 60s retro revolutionary speaker at the event. They condemned Bush Hitler on topics like the Katrina Hurricane, the economy, education and oh yeah... Iraq. You could have blamed Bush for the broken latte machine at the 5th Avenue Starbucks and everyone would have cheered in agreement. I’m really sorry that most of you missed this thought provoking spectacle. Pictures of the event are shown below, enjoy.

As many of you know, modern day protesters are the proud poster children for Attention Deficit Disorder. The anniversary of the liberation of Iraq is the occasion for a wide variety of causes that have nothing to do with Iraq...

The evil Masons at WalMart must have some connection to the conflict. Perhaps they need oil for their delivery trucks? Who knows?...except for the elite few at this protest.

Some messages are just plain bizarre. You need an extreme left-wing point of view to understand the connection between the sign below and the Iraq war. “End Assimilation”?!!! I didn’t know the Stamp Out Integration Movement was aligned with the “Anti-War” Movement. Of course, France paid dearly for not integrating its Muslim minority when riots recently swept the country. Thank goodness the Left doesn’t need rational thinking skills so they can ignore the real life lessons that could be learned from those riots.

Many people have been begging me to document the “Peace” Movement’s stance on home birth. I am proud to say that after quite a bit of research I have the answer. Do I hear a Pulitzer Prize calling my name?

Conspiracy nuts are drawn like moths to the Pro-Terrorist movement. There is an affinity between the two that is derived from mutually shared philosophies on how to conduct research. Both groups have a penchant for altering facts to fit their narrow and irrational world view.

There is a thriving cottage industry that alleges US involvement in a wide array of conspiracies. It is a short step to go from conspiracies about Area 51 to those about the War on Terror because the lack of critical thought is endemic to both. Neo-Nazi and Islamist conspiracies accusing the Jews of carrying out the 9/11 attacks are right at home in a “Peace” movement that also praises the Palestinian Intifada. While we are TOLD to “Question Authority”, the rank and file does not question the lack of rational reasoning behind the arguments presented by the “Peace” movement.

(The message below is scribbled on the back of a Donna Frye for Mayor sign. Hmmm...)

Now the part we all look forward to, the Bush Hitler hate fest.

(Everyone should wear a Palestinian kuffiyeh scarf to show solidarity with genocidal terrorists when condemning Bush as a murderer. I love irony! This is the same woman who dyed her middle finger purple in last year’s protest in order to offensively mock the free Iraqi elections.)

(Ahhhh...the old Bush is stupid smear. I believe that most stupid people usually get bachelor degrees from Yale University and I am positive that they always receive a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Anyone with that kind of education is obviously stupid. My dog can do that.)

The picture below depicts the International Socialist Organization’s booth, which boldly displays Palestinian flags as the background for the Communist literature that they SELL. Proving once again that no matter what the conflict is, the ISO will always side with the terrorists.

One of the worst parts of going to a protest is the absolute hatefulness of the protesters. I mingled among them without engaging in debate just to see what its like in their shoes. The favorite ice breaker utilitzed by Leftists when approaching other Leftists is to walk up to them and start screaming, “Bush should be impeached, US troops need to withdraw without condition, bla, bla, bla”. These people issue out demands like Islamist kidnappers. It was pure torture, but I smiled and humored them a bit.

There were some protesters with a sense of humor. They called themselves Preacher George & the Raptures. Their gimmick was to dress up as a church choir and one member wore a Bush mask while reading from a caricature of the Bible. Since there are no Christian terrorist suicide bombers and Islam is in urgent need of reform I thought it was a bit tasteless, but I couldn’t help getting the chorus of one of their songs stuck in my head. The tune was set to the hymn “Jesus Loves Me” and the lyrics were, “Yes, George Bush loves me, The White House tells me so”. I still don’t get the point, is the White House PR team supposed to support the Iraqi insurgents? Regardless, I have been singing the song since the protest. Its fun being a Neo-Con, come join us. Blaaawaaaahhaaaaa haa haaaaaa...

There was a huge difference between the Leftists and the counter-demonstrators, Protest Warriors. Great big smiles and optimism was radiant from their ranks. It was nice to see happy, well adjusted people again.

A radical journalist from La Prensa magazine interviewed Protest Warrior, Dan Martinez. Dan gave direct answers to the reporter’s questions and smiled in amusement at the reporter’s attempts to outwit him. Basically, the reporter was trying to bait Dan into saying something negative about the UN and similar subjects so he can edit a nice sound bite out of it to make Dan sound like an intolerant bigot. I listened to the whole interview and Dan ruled it from beginning to end.

After a day full of moonbattyness I am simply amazed that any intelligent adult could fall for the kind of misinformation that was rampant there. When Iraq has beaten the Sunni Baathists and Islamists, these people are going to be embarrassed that they empowered such a brutal insurgency. Even though I am an atheist, abortion rights sympathizer, pro-gun control and a generally liberal-minded person - I will probably vote Republican in the next elections because of the Democratic Party’s support for such slanderous anti-Americanism.

Sorry Nanc,

Blogger has had quite a few difficulties since their recent upgrade (thats what usually happens after an upgrade).

I checked their Known Issues and Status pages, but didnt see any reference to the problem so they might not be aware of it. I emailed their helpdesk to let them know.

Freedom

This description you have provided is exactly what I see at " Peace Rallies in NYC". Of course when I point out that the marches are organized by Communists with large Communist and anti semitic contingents the left starts to cry about McCarthyism. Calling an actual Communist a Communist is a statement of fact.

I have interviewed scores of people who did not know of Communist organization. However, this defies belief as copies of the Militant were being passed out.

Bush has failed to do the right thing. The leadership of Code Pink should be placed on trial for treason. Giving money to our enemies in Falujah crossed the line. I would offer the choice of twenty years or denaturalization and hope the Code Pink crowd takes the latter.

I probaly will vote for the GOP again even though I also will probably puke in the polling place when I do it. I keep hoping that a neo libertarian with a name know to the public will step forward--maybe even a reagan type from the intertainment community. I am not a fan of Arnold of the left coast although he makes more sense than the left coast dim-a-crits. But we need a laeder who not only can cut through the bullshit of the socialists but can get the majority of the people behind him/her. None of those running for office at the present nor any that I can think of in the wings just waiting are the type that I want to see in the white house or congress.

Nanc,

You should be ashamed to produce such Pro-WalMart propaganda. I am sick of low prices and jobs for third world countries. When will the villany at WalMart end?

Beak,

Between ANSWER, Code Pink and the ISO the Communists rule the "antiwar" movement (pro-war when it is against the US). All of the largest protest organizers are Communist or Communist front groups. Yet Leftists still accuse the US of stifling free speech.

Another dynamic that I should have addressed in this post was that among the literature booths a large share (maybe a majority) of them were Christian. This comes despite the fact that Leftists accuse the US of waging a Crusade against Islam.

The Left typically uses Jews, Veterans and now Christians as human shields for their movement.

Guy,

I actually would prefer to vote Democratic, but I cant justify that as long as they dedicate themselves to sabatoging our foreign policy in the middle of a war.

Anyways, nobody is a prophet or saint. Our leaders will always have faults, I just want my leader to represent the best interests of the country and our allies (Iraq and Afghanistan).

I am putting together twenty five questions for you. It is rare that a quote on my blog should anger me.

However the recent quote " Children belong to Allah has angered me" . This is a fight against barbarism and we forget at times.

nanc said...

beak - it's why they have children - a cultural snag. it angers me too when i think of a child being brainwashed and sent off to be a homicide bomber. it is barbaric to the nth degree.

That was a great post. I enjoyed the pictures as well. From what I've read, even most Sunnis are glad that Saddam is done. If democracy in Iraq is going to succeed, the Sunni population needs to feel included. I think most of the insurgency is supported outside of Iraq. Syria, Iran and the rest.

fern - i made an executive decision to stay home from work today as it may or may not snow. i don't like snow. nor do i like driving in it. my favorite thing to do in the snow is to go to a large parking lot before the store opens and do brodies and fishtails until i'm drunk with excitement! then i go home good to go for a year or so. when the opportunity has arisen and i've dropped the kids off at school, our youngest would say, "mom, please stay away from parking lots and go straight home, please..." well, that was all the encouragement i needed! betcha didn't know about my daredevilish nature? scares the hell out of my husband!

Freedomnow said...

So you dont like driving in the snow, but you love to do stunt car acrobatics in it? Thats the problem with kids these days...

A.C.,

In your list of insurgent supporters you forgot to add Christian Peacemaker Teams. Their slogan is "Empowering Terrorism for a Brighter Future"

Jacob,

Thats what I said to the protester before snapping the picture, "Oh Mad Magazine, Alfred E. Neuman." She gave me a nervous smile and her protest sign was recorded so that she could enlighten the world.

Thank God for these free-thinkers, they are the beacons of truth in these dark times of Zionist and Neocon conspiracies. If it wasnt for these rightwing fascists, Baathists would be holding the hands of their brothers, the Shiites and Kurds, and celebrating their diversity in total harmony.

The Kuwaitis would be basking under the guidance of their benevolent liberators from Iraq.

You see the US has messed everything up. Michael Moore tells us that before the war people only flew kites in Iraq, now the kite fliers have been enraged to commit acts of violent self-defense in response to American and Jewish aggression.

Isnt it a wonderful fantasy? Lets make a movie!!!

nanc said...

it didn't snow!

can i play michelle malkin in the movie? or a straight tammy bruce?
